Watch features
What makes this watch worth wearing
Oversized pilot proportions
A true 46mm case - built to be read instantly, even at a glance.
Baumuster A: Clarity
The original pilot layout: hours are primary, with a clean, disciplined face designed for immediate reading.
Built for life
Oversized crown. Sapphire crystal. Solid steel case.
A watch with real weight and presence.
Big, but calm
A true 46mm pilot watch - sized for instant readability.
On the wrist it feels purposeful rather than aggressive: more cockpit instrument than statement piece.
Automatic workhorse movement
A proven, everyday automatic: 24 jewels, 21,600 bph, ~41h power reserve.
Ready when light fades
The hands and markers use Swiss Super-LumiNova. It charges quickly and gives a crisp green glow - clear enough for a single glance when visibility drops.
For pilots - and minimalists
The Baumuster A dial became the defining pilot watch layout for a reason. Large numerals. Clear hierarchy. Instant orientation.

HOW IT WEARS
Shown on a 19cm wrist
The Fly E03 wears exactly like a pilot’s watch should: clear, substantial, and easy to read. At 46.1mm (excluding crown) with a 55mm lug-to-lug, it has real presence - and it’s meant to.
The case sits stable thanks to the broad stance and 24mm strap width. Thickness is 13.2mm at the centre, with an overall feel that’s robust rather than bulky.
If you’re used to 40–42mm watches, this will feel noticeably larger. If you enjoy oversized tool watches - this will feel instantly “right”.

Get a message engraved on the caseback
Make it personal
A watch is a great carrier of something personal. Add a message on the caseback - a date, a name, a reminder, or a line that matters.
Make it a gift that is more personal (anniversary, graduation, retirement)
A marker of a milestone (first flight, graduation, new job)
Or as a daily reminder (your own line, a personal mantra)
Classic B-Uhr design
What's included?
The watch comes on a dark brown leather strap with stitching and rivets.
Notes on the Design
-
A pilot watch as an instrument
The original Beobachtungsuhren - often shortened to B-Uhr - were not designed as luxury. They were navigational tools built for wartime aviation: large enough to read instantly, precise enough to trust under pressure, and stripped of anything unnecessary.
-
Built for readability
The oversized crown could be operated with gloves. The luminous dial had to remain legible in darkness.
The case size improved visibility at a glance inside noisy, vibrating cockpits where seconds mattered. -
Two dial logics
Our Fly E03/A and E03/B stay faithful to the visual discipline that made the originals so effective - with two different dial logics: one for the pilot, one for the navigator.
A: hours firstB: minutes first
-
Baumuster A: the pilot’s layout
The Baumuster A is the earliest and purest version of the classic B-Uhr dial.
The hours take priority, displayed clearly and without interruption around the outer dial. There is a certain calm to it. -
Clarity above all
No inner tracks competing for attention. No visual noise. Just a highly legible instrument built around immediate understanding.
It is the kind of clarity you stop noticing precisely because it works so well.
